The big news is that CAMBC is renting a mini-excavtor. Thanks Mike L. for handling pickup/delivery. Hopefully this will take care of a lot of the heavy digging. This is the first time since, 2004 we've had a machine. Hopefully we can make a habit out of it.

We'll need lots of voluteers to handle rock work for a switch back/burm turn, finish work cleaning up after the excavator, and folks to help close the old trail.

We would like to thank Dave Wotten for spear heading this effort and others who kept pushing this issue. We also want to thank Albemarle County Parks and Rec. for opening up WCP to CAMBC members for night riding!

Let's keep this venue open to night rides and obey the County's wishes. Night riding at WCP is only permitted the first and third Wednesday of each month and only as an official CAMBC members ride due to insurance purposes. Please only night ride at WCP during officially scheduled CAMBC night rides. Stay posted for future night rides.
